Match day parking campaign

Labour Councillors voted to refuse Arsenal’s application last March to continue coach parking in residential streets for next season as part of a public decision making process after listening to residents views.

We believe that Arsenal should provide coach parking themselves without preventing residents and their visitors from parking in their own street.

Recently, when Arsenal appealed against our public decision in court, residents and Labour Councillors were astonished to hear the Council’s barrister announce that Council would agree towith Arsenal to provide match day coach parking in Hornsey street for another three years.

Unfortunately, the Lib Dems who run the Council had made a secret decision behind closed doors not to stand up for local residents.
