Islington’s Labour-run Council continues to support those most in need through this Coronavirus crisis.

Through financial support for local people, grants for local businesses and keeping vital services running, we are committed to making our borough a fairer place, through this difficult period.

But while we do all we can, the Government continues to fail those people who are doing the most to tackle this crisis – the vital frontline workers, such as nurses, care workers, school staff and more.

These everyday heroes are putting their lives at risk to priovide the services we need but without the vital testing and personal protective equipment (PPE) they need, they won’t be able to do this much longer.
