Councillor Shreya Nanda
Councillor, Hillrise Ward
Shreya was born in the Whittington Hospital and has lived in Islington with her family for most of her life. She was elected as a councillor in Hillrise ward in 2024. She is a governor at St Joseph’s School, co-chair of the finance policy group, and a member of the planning committee.
Outside of her council work, she is a senior fellow at the Social Market Foundation, and campaigns for a fairer housing market as co-chair of Labour YIMBY (Yes In My Back Yard).
