Councillor Gary Heather
Councillor, Finsbury Park Ward | Mayor of Islington
Gary was first elected as a councillor for Finsbury park ward in 2014, and he has been an active campaigner and trade unionist for many years, formerly being President of Islington Trades Union Council. Gary is also chair of the Andover estate residents steering group, and a member of the Nags Head and Finsbury Park town centre management groups. Gary is conducting academic research in the workplace, and enjoys reading, swimming and dance tunes in his spare time. He is also the current Mayor of Islington.
