Janet Burgess has represented Junction ward since 1997 and served as the full time Executive Member for Health & Adult Social Services for many years. She has lived in Islington for thirty years and spent most of her working life as an assistant to various Labour MPs. Currently Janet is Chair of Governors at Hargrave Park Primary School, and a Trustee of the Cloudesley Trust and Whittington Park Community Centre.
Janet sits on the Audit and Risk Committee, the Employment and Appointments Committee, the Grievance Committee and the Health, Wellbeing and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Committee.
