Nurullah was first elected as a councillor for St Marys ward in 2014, and has lived in Islington for most of his life. He chairs the Standards Committee and sits on the Disciplinary Appeal Committee and the Licensing Committee.
Alongside his work as a Mental Health Professional and a local councillor, Nurullah is the Chief Executive Officer of DERMAN, a mental health charity and represents the University College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
