Councillor Clare Jeapes
Councillor, Canonbury Ward | Recycling Champion
Clare was elected as a councillor for Canonbury ward in 2014 and has been involved in the Islington community for many years, including serving for over 20 years as a school governor for a primary school. Clare has also served as school governor for a local secondary school and previously as a member of the Marquess Tenants and Residents Association. She is vice-chair of the Licensing Committee and sits on the Planning Committee.
Clare is passionate about ecology and environmental issues, and is active with the community garden in King Henry’s walk.
