Toby works as head of policy, public affairs and communications for a domestic abuse charity, putting pressure on local and national governments to tackle domestic abuse and protect victims. Since moving to the borough in 2015, Toby has served as campaigns coordinator for both Islington constituency labour parties and as a ward organiser for two branches, leading on campaigns to protect our NHS and build more genuinely affordable homes for local people. He is Vice Chair of the Council’s Planning Committee, also sitting on the Children’s Services Scrutiny Committee and Corporate Parenting Board. Toby is a member of Unite the Union, and a school governor at Winton and Hugh Myddelton Primary Schools.
