Councillor, St Mary's and St James' | Mental Health Champion and Chair of Health, Wellbeing & Adult Social Care Scrutiny Committee
Joseph is the borough’s Mental Health Champion. As a Councillor, he is Chair of Health, Wellbeing and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Committee and sits on the Corporate Resources and Economy Scrutiny Committee, the Joint Overview and Scrutiny Committee on Health and the Licensing Committee. He has held frontline roles in the NHS all his adult life, currently working as a psychologist in East London Foundation Trust, where he also served as staff governor – standing up for the rights of employees, service users, and their families. In his spare time, he can be found either playing music, watching a show, or cheering along on the terraces at Arsenal Football Club.
