Paul Convery worked for 25 years as an economic and social researcher before being elected to serve Caledonian ward in 2006. He has lived in Cally for over 20 years and served as an Executive Member responsible for Planning, Leisure and Transport from 2010-12 and Community Safety and Licensing from 2012-16. He is also a governor of Robert Blair Primary School and the secretary of Islington United youth football club.
He is currently chair of the Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and Pensions Committee.
