Councillor Una O’Halloran
Councillor, Caledonian Ward | Leader of the Council
Una is the Leader of Islington Council. She was born and raised in Islington and has represented Caledonian ward since 2014, even serving as Mayor of Islington from 2017-18.
Una joined the Executive in 2019 as Executive Member for Community Development and is currently the chair of the Health and Wellbeing Board and sits on the Employment and Appointments Committee.
Una is very involved in her local church St Mary Moorfields, a regular volunteer at a local soup kitchen and a school governor at St Joseph’s Primary School. Community Spirit is what drives Una on.
