Una is the Leader of Islington Council. She was born and raised in Islington and has represented Caledonian ward since 2014, even serving as Mayor of Islington from 2017-18.
Una joined the Executive in 2019 as Executive Member for Community Development and became the leader of the council in 2024
Una is very involved in her local church St Mary Moorfields, a regular volunteer at a local soup kitchen and a school governor at St Joseph’s Primary School. Community Spirit is what drives Una on.
